I don't know how but now my indicators are working again! I had a similar issue with my radiator fan several months ago... I just stuffed around with the fuses and relays, cleaned out a few connectors with WD40 and the issue has disappeared.
I changed the date of my check ride so I'll have time for parts to arrive and I did end up ordering a new flasher relay just to rule it out and will probably not be doing anything major until it arrives.
I'm just hoping to get some advice to diagnose an issue I'm having where the indicators either flicker or completely stop working when the engine is running. The lights on dash which light up when the indicators are on also flicker.

It was about $2000 AUD to replace both the piston and cylinder at the dealership including 8 hours labour and there was a 1 month wait for the parts to arrive from KTM.
The issue was piston slap.
I just ended up finding a damaged clutch assembly from someone scrapping a totaled duke of similar year for around $15 on eBay. I don’t think it’s a very common bolt and I really had a lot of trouble finding something similar that would fit so I took the easy option and was done with it. If you...
Awesome! The stock radiator guard is only held on by the fasteners they probably use for car bumpers and mine fell out long ago... the holes are probably M7mm and I had no spare bolts of that size and the thing was noisy as hell flapping around from vibrations so I replaced it with a metal guard...

I'm just reporting in from Melbourne, Australia.
I decided to purchase a KTM RC 390 after carefully comparing and considering many LAMS approved bikes and I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to own one of these fine machines as my first motorcycle.
It's great to see a small community...
I have found the best way to go about this kind of thing is to find the map first and then customise the bike to match the map and you won't have this kind of issue, I hope you find a solution to your problem.
It's inside the black KTM folder you should have received with the bike, there is a pocket containing this small booklet where you will find the service history and stamps.
