Hello all,
Whenever I ride it seems as though I get a fair amount of road grime and dust on my rims more so on the rear rim than the front of course. How do you guys clean your rims from this road grime?
Context: I have 2017 KTM RC 390 with Dunlop Q3+ and Puig metal valve stems (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/puig-90-degree-valve-stems). I use Woodcraft tire warmers and run 32-33 hot in the front and 26-29 hot in the rear. I have done more than 20 track days with two sets of Dunlop Q3+ and...
I’ve searched extensively on this forum, the duke 390 forum, and the internet at large, but still have some questions. There is surprising little in the way of real information, other than complaints about how difficult it is to access and remove the unit itself.
Please don’t hijack this...
I am upgrading master cylinder, brake lines, and brake pads. I was wondering if aftermarket front brake rotor, e.g., Galfer rotor, would further improve braking performance over 320mm stock rotor. I am using the bike only for the track and the stock front brake really sucks.
Are there any...
Hello all i recently bougth a new to me 2017 and already wanna add /mod things...
1. Is there any cages for our bikes??? Not gonna stunt anytime soon just want protection if it drops
2. Any body lower the rear with aftermarket lowering kit???

I engaged front ABS quite a few times on track after straights; I didn't even realized that I am braking hard and it didn't felt that I am braking hard, but the ABS still engaged. Is the ABS on 2017 RC 390 conservative, so it turns on before the wheel locks up? I am removing ABS, so I wanted to...
I am using my 2017 RC 390 for track. As the track day goes by, my front brake lever becomes spongy and the lever touches the throttle.
I changed brake fluid to Motul 660 this morning in the hope that brake lever feel would get better. The feel is better, but if I put enough pressure I can get...
I was wondering if it was at all possible to change the front of the RC to more of a street fighter type setup up front with a big round headlight, and maybe change the tach and speedo to smaller streamlined units, is that possible at all with the RC's front cluster setup?
Can anyone confirm if EBC makes their sintered HH front pads for the 2017+ RC390n and if so, what is the part number? I've seen the ones for the 2015-2016 with part# FA606HH but don't see ones for the 2017+ year model. I've used those pads on all my track bikes and have been really happy with...
lots of 2015 rc390 parts. all parts pictures in good condition and work. also have the swingarm, rims(need to be repainted), front and rear break calipers, gas tank cover and rider seat
Hey, as there seems to be a fair few racers and track day riders here I just though I would ask who's running what in what race series......I used to be a race tyre techniciain for race teams and even got to work at two rounds of the WSBK but haven't had much experience with Pirelli, michelin...
Hi guys,
I am planning on upgrading the braking power on my 15' RC390 for the front. I saw that the most common modification is to buy the Powerparts (Galfer) 320mm disc but I was wondering if others 320mm disc from other bikes would fit? Thanks.
To add to the mix, I'm now also producing a Chromoly 4140 Hardened Rockwell 36C front sprocket for the stock 520 chain. These sprockets are hard clear through, not case hardened as most front sprockets are. This means it'll last a LOT longer. Going up to a 16T front is basically about the same...

415 Front Sprockets are rolling off the machining center constantly now. Stock for the rear sprockets should be here later this week and will have an array of offerings for rear sprocket sizes. Sprocket fitment is perfect! These front sprockets are made from hardened Chromoly 4140, and have cold...
This is my first post I suppose, so hello. I live outside St. Louis, Missouri. I thought for sure I had an account when I first bought the bike a few years ago, but couldn't seem to figure out my info.
Anyways, I need to replace my front and rear brake pads. The bike is not currently with me...
Whilst changing the front fork seals I inadvertently managed to press the brake lever (whilst it was dangling loose off the disc) resulting in the front pads now tightly pressed against each other.
Before I do anything further stupid grateful if someone could please give me a guide as to how...
272.7 lbs with 2/3 of a tank of gas -at least that is what the math said after I subtracted the weight of the board the bike was sitting on.
I’m not bragging and my goal was not go to great lengths to try to lighten the bike. This was merely a labor of love of tinkering and aesthetics. This is...
