Bought my '15 RC390 in April of 2019 with 5k on the clock
Bike didn't stay stock for long. My end plan was to build as sporty of a lightweight bike as I could for the street.
I added:
Tyga Dual Oval Undertail
RapidBike Evo Tuner
Driven Rearsets
Driven Triple/Clip-Ons
Motion Pro Rev2 Throttle...
Hi everyone ,
Experiencing a bizarre issue after mounting the IRC quick shifter.
Upon hard acceleration, most notably in 2nd gear, there is a momentary fuel cut without depressing the shift lever. It's like it's receiving a signal to shift. I made sure my feet were clear of the lever and...
Hi all. I recently picked up a 2015 RC390 and took her to the track this last weekend. It is GP shift. When I shift it the lever stays where I last put it. So when I shift from third to fourth, or any gear for that matter, I have to nudge the lever up or down to get it into position for what...
Understanding the value of removing the stock side stand before I regret not doing so, I nevertheless really want some way of supporting the bike when I stop. I'm not keen to seek out a wall to lean against. And when it comes time to put up the bike on a proper paddock stand, I again would...
My bike (2017 KTM RC 390) goes to false neutral on track when I down shift from 4th to 3rd or 5th to 4th. It doesn’t happen on every down shift but probably 1 in 5 shifts. I think I am not pushing hard enough on the lever, but was wondering if it could me issue with my bike.
Hello.
Because the tachometer and the shift indicator of the genuine meter were small and the visibility was bad, I wanted to install the shift light LIGHTRONIC LT 200, but in order to install it I have to pick up the engine rotation signal.
Is there a person who knows where to get the engine...
Hello everyone, does anyone know where I can get a replacement shift lever with the shift rod as well. I got into a wreck and the rod snapped off from the shift lever. Please and thank you in advance!
GP shift on a 2015 RC/Duke 390
I like gp/reverse shifting on my race bikes and while I was waiting for my rear sets to come in the mail I did a few track days testing recently and wanted to covert to GP shift, here’s how I did it without buying any parts.
Remove the small sprocket cover...
Hi all,
Has anyone tried or is running the KTM Powerparts shift lever KTM Store :: KTM Street Powerparts :: 390 DUKE :: Foot Rest :: KTM POWERPARTS SHIFT LEVER FOR 390 ? I see that it has three different positions of adjustment for the step plate and was wondering if these adjustments result in...
Shift Light Installation
Has anyone installed a Heal Technology Shift Light Pro? I am about to install a Rottweiler fairing stay, drop my instrument panel to a lower position, and mount a lap timer. This will put my shift light and tach below my peripheral vision so I am thinking about a shift...
Just bought a set of ebay rearsets because I am cheap. A pain to assemble, and had to shorten a couple bolts. But seems like ok quality, hasnt broken and killed me yet....
I want to try reverse shift pattern on the set, but it doesnt seem to be possible. Anyone got a set and know of a way? Or...
Hi. Anyone knows if the Sato short shift kit can fit the KTM Performance's cup bike rearset linkage rod?
Is Sato the only manufacturer has it? Looks like a simple kit to produce
I ordered the wrong shift sensor for my Duke 390. I may convert my track bike (600rr) to GP shift (and swap out the sensors) but I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to buy this from me. I did install it, but it's still like new and comes with the box.
$150 + shipping
I used it for 6 months and went to GP shift. See posting on eBay
