ALL NEW Brembo "Corsa Corta" 19RCS Brake Master Cylinder

The NEW Brembo 19RCS CORSA CORTA allows the rider to tailor the “bite point” exactly where they want it, with an easily accessible selector on the top of the master cylinder itself.

As with the RCS19, the New Corsa Corta Brake Master Cylinder gives you the option to choose between (2) ratios: 19x20 & 19x18 with just the turn of a screw.

The selector operates a cam mechanism to let the user choose between three different responsiveness settings.

a) Normal setting
- indicated on the master cylinder with the letter N, the bite point starts more gradually, making it suitable for city riding or braking in poor grip conditions.

b) Sport setting - indicated on the master cylinder with the letter S, the beginning of the bite point is shorter than in the N setting. This setting produces a more dynamic response suitable for sportier riding.

c) Race setting - indicated on the master cylinder with the letter R, the position of the cam mechanism shortens the initial stage of the bite point even further to produce the same immediate response of the master cylinders used in MotoGP, letting the rider reach the bite point of the brakes instantaneously. This setting is ideal for use on the race track, where every hundredth of a second shaved off a lap time counts.

Included in our kit is a Microswitch for the Brake

Any idea if they offer something like this with a smaller piston? A 19 would be pretty aggressive for these little bikes. Most people are going with a 14 or 15 and say that is plenty.

Correct.

For the RC390 or Duke 390 the RCS15 is plenty.
That's what we run on our RC390 and it's amazing.

The Corsa Corta Versions are supposed to be released later this year.

Finally received the first shipment.
It's not as many as we ordered..... But it's a start, from what seems like forever ago.

Congrats to all those who've stuck it out. They are on the way to you.

Beware!!! If you buy one of these master cylinders and you are still using your ABS the socket for the banjo bolt is roughly 90 degrees different from the socket for stock master cylinder. This means that if you install the master cylinder you will very likely need to purchase a new custom made steel braided brake line. Either that or twist your existing stock brake line in a way that I would not recommend. You may be able to remove and re route the existing break line. Just a heads up. I will let you know what I learn. Incidentally, I am enjoying experimenting with the ABS on the track.

I have a 2015 RC 390 and purchased an RCS 15.
