CLUTCH WORN OUT?

Chaos causes

Guys, as I apply the clutch while riding at times I feel there is something in the wires which is holding the clutch back and it makes a slight sound at times too. Could this be the sign of a worn-out clutch? The bike just has 9000 miles(16000Kms) on the do and this is a 16(slipper clutch) model.

I had a similar issue in my RC, and it appeared to be caused by the wire itself, which was bent too strongly in one place. Slight adjustment in cord routing fixed it.

Maybe the cable needs to be lubricated. It is supposed to be done every year, along with lubricating all other moving/sliding parts, but commonly it is neglected.
