OEM Tank grip works wonders!

I bought the KTM PowerParts tank stickers. Let me tell you before I install this kit from KTM... I used to slide around during braking and acceleration. My cornering was however was very sweet as the sliding around actually helped me be quicker on twistys.

So now that it is installed here is the pros/cons

Pros:
Absolute solid grip
Looks awesome on the bike.
Sure grip on cornering
Defiantly confidence inspiring! Easier clutch and braking!
Better on your body, you are literately planted on the bike. My hands are now free to delicacy work the controls instead of controlling my shifting body weight .
Blends in with OEM panels miles better than stomp grip etc.
The placement is perfect

Cons:

Alters the look of the bike from the side angles. But I would call this a push as it looks great either way
Coming to a complete stop is a little awkward as you have to release your inner leg from the grip to put a leg down. I'm sure ill get used to it.
Cornering is not as fluid as you cannot slide around the bike. Keep in mind I have only tested this grip one day.

My Opinion.. GET THIS KIT!!!!!!
I should have installed this in 2015!!!!!

I am 6'0' and have long legs. I wonder if that is why they work for me? My knees contact the pads with no problem. The one on the front of the tank and the 2 side pads seem to all work together. Man I just can't believe what an improvement this has been for my RC.

Yea. You're a giant by comparison. At 5'4 my knees can't get that far forward.

I am 6' too. Still no where near where the KTM pads are on the fairings.See knees no where near and the clear stomp grips blend in.

Damn thats a sweet angle! Not sure I would go that far yet. This is my second year riding and it more of a fun commute for me. I can actually ride upright with these pads!

I also just installed these today as well.

I also disagreed with where they want you to put them.

Therefore, I did not put them there. :)

I tweaked the shape a bit and put them on the sides of the tank, where they should go. Grip for days. Looks to match
