Was up guys first post......How will a tall guy fit on this bike....can it be raised up? Am i too tall? Is it to compact? Tall guys how do you fit/feel on it?

See, I admire you for thinking "small," but I don't see putting a big guy on a bike of this size. But, if yer havin' fun, who am I to take exception?

Then it's just a question of how folded up you are, or whether you can adjust/modify things to your liking.

I'm 6' 4" and 230 lbs.
its small and I look ridiculous but it handles so sweet and I've been riding 600 sport-bikes for most of the last 20 years so the riding position doesn't bother me.

I am 6'-2" and look large on the bike, for sure - but don't let that stop you. There is a rider on this forum who is 6'4" too - you're not alone.

6 ft 4 at 212 here. ur gonna look ridiculous on it. it wont matter though because you will be having a blast! the RC is a little small for our height, but it is still comfortable enough to do long hauls on, as well as race.

I'm 6'3" and 220# (and 245# in gear) and yeah... you are folded up on the bike. I raced an NSR250 tho. It's where I fell in love with little bikes... look at it this way:
If you ride it, you don't have to look at it. Ride it FAST enough, and nobody else does either.
I didn't form my company entirely based on the RC390 because of what it looked like. It was all about how it RODE.

New site member saying hi. I'm 6'2" and about to buy a 2016 model, which I'll be seeing for the first time in a couple hours. This thread has done a lot to relieve some lingering anxiety I had about fit. I've been riding street bikes for over 40 years, but this bike will be my entree to track riding. My bike stable presently houses a Ducati Diavel, a 1290 super Duke R, and a BMW R1150R Rocktser. The Diavel will be sold soon to make room (in the garage and the budget) for the RC390.
The ergonomics site above as well as the testimonials of other tall riders has helped a LOT. Thank you. I'll probably have the usual questions - whatever they may be - and I pledge to try to search first before blurting out stuff you've all heard a thousand times already.
I do ALL of my own mechanical work, so I do bring some experience. I hope that as I learn about the RC390 I will be able to contribute in some useful ways. I'll certainly be a sponge for a while.
