BMW s1000R This is the bike I'm lusting after right now, I'm hoping to pick one up next riding season used, or possible new.

I bought most of my gear from KTM when I got my rc390 as my first bike... mesh pants and jacket that zip together in the back... they are very nice in warm weather... but anything below like 22c and I'm abit cold in them. I bought a nice leather jacket by CMC which is for colder weather riding...

Interesting, if you ever get around to adjusting them I wouldn't mind seeing the difference... they look kinda awkward on there as it is... did you buy your bike from a harley dealership?

Looks good, if it didn't raise the seat level I would buy one in a heartbeat but i already wish stock height was abit lower, but if your taller thats probably a bonus.

I noticed the same actually... I wasn't sure if it was normal I'm starting to think it is.... but maby I should add a touch of water to it. one thing about engine ice, the guys at my dealership said the stuff that comes stock in the rc390 is better then engine ice... that they just got back...

I think its not a bad idea if you were going to do this to also hardwire in a front camera... have both feeds save the video to a HDD... as someone else said it would be good for protection on the roads... all sorts of stuff going on and you never know when you'll need some video proof that...

Alternatively I wonder if you could remove the stock triple and mill out the bar openings so they arn't tapered... then all you would have to do is tap the ends of the pivot handlebar risers and get new bar's to put all the stuff on.

Yeah I didn't realize they were tapered inside, I went and took it apart after reading your message and I see what you mean. That makes things more difficult. damnit. Why do they have to make things so difficult for us. I'd love to know if the duke triple would fit on the RC... I was comparing...

I'm looking to rise the handlebars on my 390.. looking at my different options... kinda makes it hard because the handlebar are built right into the triple... I don't really want to mill the stock positions out for clip-ons incase I wanted to switch it back or sell it. Seems to me that what...
