I'm also thinking/hoping it's the water pump. That would explain the high temps at COTA, and the overheating at MSRC. My coolant level was low, and there is definitely contamination in the oil, but the exhaust did not blow smoke. Water can enter the crankcase via a bad water pump...

The throttle tube is super easy to install. I knew it would only take a few minutes, so I set up my GoPro in Timelapse mode to capture the magic! :D

The install went well I think. The parts fit perfectly, and everything appears to be of good quality. Similar to Sato and Woodcraft that have on my other bikes. Just make sure to use Loctite on everything. (that goes for anything you do to a motorcycle ;) )

Here is a basic video from COTA. The track is very big, and smooth. I never expected to enjoy riding the little RC on such a fast track, but it was't bad at all!

I would suggest that you DO use them. place them on either side of your PVC spacer. Don't forget to include the thickness of the washers in your overall spacer length.
The previous owner (awesome guy BTW) confirmed that it was Engine Ice in the cooling system. My racing org doesn't allow engine ice, so I'll be switching to distilled water.
