That is a really good idea drilling a weep hole Ed...... I have seen them on other bikes.... I was thinking today ,, IF,, the seal on the engine side was to go bad , I am sure you could drill through it ,, put a screw in it and pull it out the pump side ,, replace it that way... Just...

I will have to try that fuel Maddog when I go and fuel up later this morning ,, I normally just put unleaded in mine.... They do sell that at the garage where I go but I just never thought of putting it in..

That is a good idea fitting a manual switch , let us know how you get on , my sleeve was fast on and I did not want to put to much pressure in case I damaged the shaft it self...

Yeah I did Fowlers , I must of missed that kit M..... How much did you pay for yours ? , I have paid £31 for mine... And I looked at my pictures ,, that sleeve bit looks like its fixed and not bearing type...

Where did you buy the repair kit from Maddog ?... Does the outer part of that sleeve turn like a bearing ?, because from that picture it looks like there is an inner part... I could not get mine off , it was stuck..

Sorry I should explain myself a bit better , once you have zip tied the cam chain to the cam gears you can lift one at a time up ( after taking the cam shaft bridge off :rolleyes: ) and replace the shims you need to.. Just makes the job easier ,, that way then you know your timing is not going...

Hi Mototoro Did the new air box help the bike run better ?,, I use engine Ice , with a fueling unit and I installed a SPAL fan.... Mine always runs one bar less even when hot ,, its only when I stop it will go to the 8 bars but it comes back down to 7 when I am moving so mine stays cool...

I think my bike is fine now , it did take in a little coolant after the first ride ,, not much though and since then it seems to go down 1or 2 millimeters after a few rides.. My ZX7 after 3 or 4 weeks I would have to top up the coolant and that had no leaks... Unless I am wrong 1or 2...

Hi Mr Death :) No there is oil in there , I have not had a leak there but I have read others have ,, its just the seal ( silicon ) has gone around it.... I think it would just be a case off dropping the oil and pulling the side case off and re-sealing it all... Or if it was me I would...
