I've decided to put my 2015 RC390 up for sale. Here are the particulars:
2015 Street Version
It is set up for track use, but have the street stuff to put it back street legal
Arrow GP Exhaust
PCV (custom mapped by Racing Connection in Kissimmee)
Vortex Clip Ons
Dunlop Alpha 13 tires with one...
Sweet! I was there last Saturday taking Ed Bargy's school. It was also a track day, and I counted four other RC's there. Hopefully you'll have a couple there to run with.
That is the track I go to most. I was there three weeks ago. Track was in good shape. It is out in the middle of nowhere. But they have camping facilities with power. For track days, they have a food truck that's good. They also have a limited number of concrete pads that you can set up...
I'll try to post a short video with sound when I get home tonight. I "un-scientifically" measured sound this weekend with my trusty Radio Shack db meter, and it varied from 101db to over 105db at 9k RPM. It was measured standing 6 feet to the side of the exhaust. I'm running this weekend, and...
I had my bike put on the dyno. My main purpose was to get rid of some of the deceleration popping, after installing the new Arrow GP exhaust and PCV. I also installed a K&N filter, but didn't modify the air box. With this configuration, he showed me that I was topping out at 40hp, and he said...
My guess is I have a leak. I'm waiting on another exhaust gasket to arrive (I probably did something putting it back together to damage the first one I replaced). I also found someone here in Orlando that can put the bike on a dyno for me, so I'm going to go ahead and have that done.
Need some help. I installed my Arrow GP exhaust and PCV, and I'm running the stock air filter. The PCV has the Arrow fuel map installed. When I decelerate, I'm getting backfiring. Is this normal? Is the bike running too lean? Too rich? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Doesn't surprise me. I went into the dealer here about three weeks ago, and he told me the dealers had them for themselves, but not to purchase. He said they would be released to purchase on October 1st. I haven't needed it yet, so I didn't really question what he said. I just like to have one...
No. They are the old style generic Vortex. However, they only come out to the edge of the body work. I've since swapped them out for some Yamaha FZ6 extended specific sliders that stick out about another inch. I'm not sure how much protection they will give me though.
Not sure if anyone found a service manual yet for the RC, but the dealer called me today and said the shop manuals were finally released yesterday. They are only on CD and about $30. So I'm picking in mine up tomorrow.
That type of graph is what I'm looking for. Right now I've been doing about one track day a month, and I have no idea if I'm getting better. I really want to know what I'm doing in the corners. There aren't many reviews of timers out there at the moment that I can find, and there is a wide...
