    Where are the new parts?

It seems aftermarket product development for this bike has slowed to a halt, I can't remember the last time a new product was released for the RC390. Am i out of the loop, or have you guys noticed this too? Is the owner base just too small to make a profit?

Got the rear pegs from RokBagaros Installed :) Looking forward to getting the front cage and wheelie bar from him in the future. It's looking like i'll go full stunt build on this bike. Might get a 56t rear sprocket and new chain too. I can't even remember the last time I went on the...

The mechanic at the new shop showed me the engine damage and said it was a bad oil pump. I've gone 70 miles since the rebuild and no issues rebuilt engine. KTM didnt have any complete 390 engines they could send me. The first shop ruined my PCV quickshifter by pulling the wire out of the...

    690 Wheels on RC390

From the ninja 400 forums, user C Dolan: The vibration issue and the more upright riding position would have me favor the Kaw, especially if I was riding more than 100 miles nonstop. Both handle well, but the KTM rear rim is way too narrow for its 150 rear tire. Slid the ass end a lot...

SO quick update: The bike is STILL not done I called the owner of the shop (KTM of Seattle) for answers, and he said the delay was a mix of 2 shop managers getting fired while my bike was there, KTM doing a service audit, and someone telling the mechanics not to work on it. Plus a 2 month...

Yeah, I definitely won't be going back to this shop for any future work. I'll be going down to noble rush auburn. Just gonna stick with it for now, since the last part they needed came in, and they have my bike scheduled for the 19th and 20th. If all goes well I will have my bike back next...

Low Oil Pressure light on 2017 RC390

I had this issue, but it was actually due to low oil. (at 300 miles). I took it to the dealership right after the light came on and they topped it off, but the next day the engine blew.

Update: Just got back from my two week trip, the shop said it would be done by the time I got back. Unfortunately they still haven't even started on it. I got my bike on Jan 24, it blew up on april 20, and its still not fixed yet. So now they have had the bike significantly longer than I have...

    2017+ Fuel Management

You can use the o2 optimizer that comes with the 15/16 PCV with the 17/18 PCV for full loop tuning, though chad isn't able to ship the o2 optimizer with the 17+'s due to carb regulations I believe. You may have to see if he can hook you up or you will have to buy the PCV for 15/16 and the 17+ to...

KTM said they'd cover it, but they are sending parts, not a complete engine. The shop says they think they can get all of the parts and put it together in another month. : (

They should be taking care of me (knock on wood), theres just been some back and forth with my dealership and the KTM warranty department. They are taking the engine apart today, and will report the damage back to KTM for them to determine whether to send new parts or an entire engine. I'm...

    Cameron's Build Thread

No hole, the engine doesn't leak oil when its sitting there. No leaks in the external gaskets. Something was dumping the oil into the exhaust when it was running, I'm guessing piston rings weren't installed properly. Was dumping enough to dry out the engine in a <5 mile ride. Kind of surprised...
