I tossed mine.
I suspect the rubber is to reduce the heat that passes through the radiator and hits the riders legs causing discomfort. However I only say this because that was the only difference I noticed after tossing it. Its definitely not unbearable but may be uncomfortable in summer or...

heres a sound clip and some close ups of it. Price is steep but you get what you pay for.
My understanding is that the WSS300 and tyga counter parts are routed around and underneath the engine to give the exhaust enough length, so yes for maximum performance the exhaust needs to go under the engine.
There are other threads with replies on the forum here that go into more detail...
I would say its not really worth the effort as there are plenty of available bolt on exhaust options that have the under-tail configuration.
If you want the cup bike configuration go with the Tyga WSS300 kit.
If you simply want an undertail exhaust, there are plenty of (probably much cheaper)...
The RB evo is an amazing piece of kit for street riders. Has definitely smoothed out a lot of the rough/jerky throttle, albeit I also have the G2 quickturn throttle which has helped me with throttle jerkiness too. One of the more interesting improvements has been the engine braking, which has...
I have the non usa mirrors and am thinking about switching to bar ends + non integrated turn signals, however, I will need to wait til my turn signals + bar end mirrors arrive before I can think about selling them.

Are they really that loud? I was very close to purchasing them for my bike but made a last minute decision to go with a titanium exhaust system instead. Kind of glad I did now!
The Athena ECU works directly with the stock loom, plug & play relatively easy to do judging by the manual. It is an independent ECU that completely replaces the stock unit.
I need a spare set of wheels and there is a good deal on a pair of Duke 125 rims! Would ideally like my other set to be black and this saves a bit of cash painting another set of orange wheels.
So I am just wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge about fitment of Duke 125 (2015) rims on an RC390 (2015).
The Duke 125 came with black rims: https://au.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5753201/road-125cc/front-wheel , https://au.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5753202/road-125cc/rear-wheel...
