Need Help Indicators intermittently stop working when engine is running

I don't know how but now my indicators are working again! I had a similar issue with my radiator fan several months ago... I just stuffed around with the fuses and relays, cleaned out a few connectors with WD40 and the issue has disappeared.

Need Help Indicators intermittently stop working when engine is running

I changed the date of my check ride so I'll have time for parts to arrive and I did end up ordering a new flasher relay just to rule it out and will probably not be doing anything major until it arrives.

Need Help Indicators intermittently stop working when engine is running

I'm just hoping to get some advice to diagnose an issue I'm having where the indicators either flicker or completely stop working when the engine is running. The lights on dash which light up when the indicators are on also flicker. I have tried replacing the 15A fuse (F6), should I purchase a...

Used RC 390 2015 Cam Chain Tensioner [Australia]

It was about $2000 AUD to replace both the piston and cylinder at the dealership including 8 hours labour and there was a 1 month wait for the parts to arrive from KTM. The issue was piston slap.

Replacement pivot screws for brake & clutch levers

I just ended up finding a damaged clutch assembly from someone scrapping a totaled duke of similar year for around $15 on eBay. I don’t think it’s a very common bolt and I really had a lot of trouble finding something similar that would fit so I took the easy option and was done with it. If you...

Cheap & easy DIY radiator guard

Awesome! The stock radiator guard is only held on by the fasteners they probably use for car bumpers and mine fell out long ago... the holes are probably M7mm and I had no spare bolts of that size and the thing was noisy as hell flapping around from vibrations so I replaced it with a metal guard...

What’s this under pillion seat it looks like some kind of bypass in my rc 390 2016

The ABS light will remain on until you are riding and it's normal to have a solid ABS light while stationary. If you have a flashing ABS light while moving then there is a problem. Check for any blown or corroded fuses. Clean the ABS sensors and rings. Check the ABS sensor wiring hasn't been...

What’s this under pillion seat it looks like some kind of bypass in my rc 390 2016

This is used for the KTM alarm/immobilizer and doesn't effect the ABS is any way, you can purchase it from a KTM parts distributor.

    What’s this in my rc 390 2016

This is an OBDII connector for the KTM diagnostic tool but you can purchase an adapter and use most generic OBDII devices. I have tried several of the wifi/bluetooth ELM327 clones with varied success but I would recommend taking a look at the Launch CReader V+ fault reader and other Launch...

    Need Help Need a map

I have found the best way to go about this kind of thing is to find the map first and then customise the bike to match the map and you won't have this kind of issue, I hope you find a solution to your problem.

It's inside the black KTM folder you should have received with the bike, there is a pocket containing this small booklet where you will find the service history and stamps.
