I have been very active on this forum for the last 18 months..... I had never owned a KTM until 13 months ago. Initially, I was THRILLED with my 2016 KTM RC390... I had a "good one".... I had no "issues" with my bike that was used 50/50 track/street. I'm 48 years old, and realized I'm too "old"...

Not sure if you want a rear "hugger" for an RC or not? I have one that I never put on the Duke I ordered, and then went another direction. I'd let go cheap, make me an offer if you're interested-

So those of us that push are bikes hard, don't get to have an opinion until we have 10,000 track miles?

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with KTM.... You seem like you have a certain amount of "anger".... I'm not really sure what your problem with me is? I was just trying to help other members out with what I experienced with my first KTM? It's pretty obvious that your mind is already made up...

My 2016 was perfect.... If I could still ride it comfortably, I'd still have it..... I bought an "old-guy" sport bike ((FZ-07).

The rubber sheet that covers the top of the engine. I can't give a picture because the only way to see it is to remove the bodywork @ tank-

Remove the bib.... it's a worthless heat shield for the tank. I took mine off, and never had a problem-

Bump, for a nice system! Arrow is the most UNDERATED system out there. I've run their systems on multiple bikes, and NEVER been disappointed....

I sold my 2016 RC390 a month ago...... GREAT bike- ZERO problems, 50/50 street/track in 2,000 miles. If my 48 year old body would still allow me to ride it effectively on-track, I would still have it.... I ordered a 2017 Duke 390 (who'd have thought I'd get "old")... At any rate, I'm pretty sure...

Is anybody (other than me) tired of KTM dealers over promising, and under delivering???? I ordered a 2016 RC last year. I was told it would be arriving in February 2016..... It arrived on May 19th [emoji35]- I recently sold it (due to my 48 year old body being too beat up to ride it effectively...

Top ends are pretty easy. I've never had to do a bottom end, but they look kind of intimidating. Biggest maintenance item check valves often, change oil/filters often. Keep an eye on the chain slider too. With a smaller rear sprocket, more chain is in contact with slider. I used to go through...

I've had a couple of sumo 450's (Honda & Husky).... Most fun I ever had on a bike period. I only reason I moved on was all the upkeep on a high-strung motor, running harder than it was ever meant to....... Still, WAY more fun on a smaller track than the RC!!!! Enjoy [emoji4] Sent from my iPad...
