This may sound strange,,, but check your throttle assembly first. My bike was acting similar one day and noticed the whole thottle assembly was rotating on the handlebar even though the screws were fully tightened....good luck.
I just had the dealer reflash w the Akra map....bike is still stock other than that. I noticed a huge improvement from 0 to part throttle position.... bike is now smoother and pulls better to redline!! Wish the bike had a digital temp readout not a stupid bar style readout because I don't know...
oh boy....the slipper or no slipper question... I just had my 2016 street RC reflashed with the Akra map. While I was at the dealership, the service mgr brought up that very same subject. He indicated AGAIN to me that my 2016 street version does have a slipper. Got laughed at on here about...
Green Bread...isn't T5 named "Everyone's Favorite?" I love that track! I had a good history racing for AF1 at that track. We did big bike endurance but sprinted a RS50. That track has a really nice layout for spectators also.
I haven't looked at wiring diagram but it shouldn't be affected. Fan still operates normally,,,,but you can flip (LED) the switch when you may think it's needed...traffic, pit lane....etc
Why not just install a "on/off" style switch? My R1 fan use to kick on at around 215 degrees so, I just installed a switch from Radio Shack that has a tiny LED in it, that way I don't mistakenly leave it on. Thought I'd throw another option out there...Hmmmm,,,,don't know why I haven't done...
I bought the first 2016 my dealer got in. Hate to hear all the probs people are having. Is it possible the 2016's a better sled in comparison to early production models? It's still too soon to tell for me, I just turned 1K on mine.
Glad to hear Matt. I just turned over 1k and have no issues so far. All valves were in tolerance at time of inspection too ( I read most vavles are tight). Keeping my fingers crossed she holds up and turns out to be a good little purchase!!
