It has 16k km on the odo. The valves were newer ajdusted before, i dont think that they were checked even I explicitly told the service center to check them at 1000km service. If I go the shim one size bigger I get 0.07mm and 0.09mm which is too tigh. Ill just set them at 0.14 and 0.12 and call...
Hello,
I would appreciate some input from more experienced members here. I had check the valve clearances and I found that all four valves are out of specs and pretty tight. Both intake valves were only 0.04mm and both exhaust valves were 0.08mm.
Now since the dealer has shims that are...
Yea, I have checked it and in the last 2000km I have added oil 3 times. Each time about 100ml. I have also read somewhere on the internet that ktm 390s consume motul 300v 15w50 a bit. Its not an issue for me since I check my oil very often but I was wondering how many people noticed this.
UPDATE:
I have disconnected bazzaz o2 eliminator and connected stock o2 sensor. Then I adjusted the map that has no fuel corrections below 60% throtle and 7.5k rpm (which corresponds to closed loop).
Here is what I have concluded:
1. Popping was reduced by great amount, almost no popping...
Hi,
I have recently changed from motorex to motul and I have noticed that bike started consuming the oil. In the last 2000km i had to put 300ml of oil. Has anybody else noticed it?
I have run the bike with catless akrapovic and no bazzaz and the surge at the low rpm was totaly eliminated. The only thing I was able to determine that the bike wont pull nicely at 7k+rpm on full throtle. From my understanding, it needs less fuel when there is a cat, but once you remove it the...
Hello, since we are all aware how closed and open loop function couldnt we just leave the stock o2 sensor connected and not disabled. I mean, closed loop will still be controled by engine cpu for maximum efficiency and open loop will be altered by bazzaz zfi. From my understanding we can ajdust...
With catless exhaust, dbkiller off and K&N air filter with holes on the box arent you afraid that you are running a bit lean with just akra map flashed.
From my understanding it doesn't need to be welded. Just remove stock o2 sensor and screw the one your receive with AFM. The stock sensor is disconnected anyway when you install the fuel controller.
Ok...thanks for that. I have sent you a PM a while back but I never received the answer from you. It was about Z-AFM and shipping to Croatia. If you do ship can you tell me what will the shipping cost be since I plan to buy it from you.
Hello MNNTHBX, I was wondering do you have a map for bazzaz zfi made with afm for a bike with full system exhaust (no cat), everything else is stock. I can pay for it, its not a problem because I know it took you time to make one. It doesnt need to be the best, I just need it to ensure that my...
I would go the the other dealer but the other one is like 400 miles from me and I don't want to drive 800 or so miles just to flash akra map for a bit lower price. They tend to overcharge for everything and the job they do is not really the best. I try to minimize the contact with them but I...
Thanks for the info.
I would buy the PCV if I havent buy Bazzaz Z-FI. So in your opinion its not worth to pay 120$ (the cost my dealer told me) just for akra map flash? Should I just buy the Z-AFM module since I plan to change the stock air filter to DNA one.
Yea, I plan to order one. In the mean time I will just go to the dealer and flash an akra map and then clean everything up with Bazzaz + AFM. However I do not know does the akra map does anything for the ignition timing so if anyone knows anything about the KTM akra map please share it and is it...
