    Could be a faulty side stand sensor/switch? Since u say it revs fine in neutral and happens at high revs in gear.! Also check if the spark plug adapter is fitting well and making good contact and check the HT coil plug too. If these dont sort anything, you might have to do a fuel pump...

    Crank it over a few times. Smell the exhaust.. If it smells like petrol. Then its the spark. Try replugging the plug adapter and also the coupler that goes to the HT coil.

    So are you suspecting a bad CCT or the motor actually have low oil pressure? I'm not able to fix on one since the motor has had history of low oil pressure. Please suggest me on what to try replacing or check next?!

    The engine was rebuilt 2 month back..the entire engine! It has done around 4000 kms.. There was a recurring low oil pressure issue for a long time which these guys couldn't rectify after repeated attempts.. Later it was found to be evacuation pump strainer twisted. They then replaced it...

    The bike makes quite loud..ticking/clatter sound on startup..the noise stays for like 30 secs and then it runs normal.. Took in the bike to the dealer today..,they said it is tappet noise so they removed head cover,checked clearances, replaced one of the intake side shims, and exhaust side...

    Check the evacuation pump stainer. Another drain bolt under the engine, facing front of the bike. Remove it once you drain oil from mail drain bolt and check how much oil u getting out of this, it could be twisted if not installed properly..check.

    Heat soak is fine..but temps go almost to all bars.. Thid never used to happen before, on my friends bikes it doesn't rise over 2 bars due to heat soak. Do something is wrong.

    Not the best way to do it, you can add a suitable value resistance to the o2 sensor to make ecu to think its running too lean and richen up the mixture a bit.

    Ambient temps are around 29degrees Celsius. Bike is running quite normal now.. Will ride for a couple of days and check if low oil pressure issue is present. The low oil pressure dosent come even if im cruising for 100kms at speeds of 100-110kmph. It only used to come if I did high rpm runs...

    I too felt its running lean.. Yes completely stock bike. The radiator fan now turns off for first two times when started cold. But keeps running in idle after it switchs on after some riding. Shuts off when I start to ride for few kms... Stays on in idle.

    Nope, not solved..its still overheating at idle. They're now doing a compression test,I don't know why these guys did compression test on a bare cold engine. Compression is at 8.5 bar. I had a look at the spark plug..does this say something?

    An oil pressure test was done, Readings are in kg/cm2. In cold and hot the pressure did not drop. Idle- 1.5kg/cm2 5000rpm-2.5kg/cm2 Measured from oil pressure switch socket. Once the engine is hot after riding few kms, and fan kicks in, the fan never goes off at idle. And the temps drop a bit...

    "drill and tap for 6x1 banjo then line to mech Guage" I don't really understand what that means.. Could you please elaborate and tell me in simple terms about what you suggest? Thank you!

    Meanwhile they got the oil out of the engine thru drainbolt and evacuation stainer..when the stainer was taken out of looks twisted.. Could this have contributed to above problems.?
