modifying

I've had my license for 3 months and just bought my 3rd bike - brand new KTM 390. I've already got new parts on order to start modifying it. Any suggestions on what I should (or should not) do?

So currently, the intake track sits like this : It "sucks" in air from underneath the rear seat. Not a lot of clean space there or an open air to draw air in. I'm thinking about modifying it to suck in air from underneath the bike...something like this: To do that, you'd have to cut an...
