I discovered that KTM India does not know what grease is.
All of the control pivots are shipped dry. Levers, shifter, rear brake, rear brake pedal to master cylinder. In the 1000 miles of riding with dry pivots galling had already started.
After lubrication the front brake feels a million times better. I think the lever was binding on the pivot under high forces.
Makes me wonder about the swing arm bearings and steering head bearings.
