It's a bit of a hassle, but I would disconnect the PCV and hook the oem connectors back up just to see if it throws any codes...then you'd know if it was a PCV issue or not.
Yah it's the driven side. It didn't actually seize to the shaft but the bushing seized to the gear. I'm thinking some kind of assembly error or oil hole alignment issue. I'll have to dig in to it further.
I didn't talk to my dealer about it because the 2 yr. warrunty expired in december. I've...
My 2017 rc390 seized the first gear bushing! Motor had 900 miles on it. Followed break in procedure. Plenty of oil in it. Not sure why it seized? Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there is a fix before I put it back together.
I had a bearing go bad on my 2017 rc390. Seems to be on the output shaft. It squeals when in gear but sounds fine in neutral. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this. The bike only has 1000 miles on it cause something is always broken on it.
A little water mixed in with the oil isn't going to hurt the bearings ...there's still an oil film on engine parts. I've had several motors loose water pump seals over the years and never had to rebuild the motor. Just flush it good ...I use WD40 to help disipate the water inside the motor...
thanks...I hate bringing my bike to a shop but I'll have to take it in to get it scanned. Hopefully they can pin point the problem and I can fix it myself.
Still no luck. I even replaced the battery with one off my DRZ400. I checked all the connections as well. What would cause the starter to continue to spin after letting off the button? I'm wondering if the short is in the starter switch.
Yah...I only saw the message for a couple seconds and my memory isn't that good lol. I replaced the battery last month...maybe it's a bad one. I'll look in to it...thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
