I have been very active on this forum for the last 18 months..... I had never owned a KTM until 13 months ago. Initially, I was THRILLED with my 2016 KTM RC390... I had a "good one".... I had no "issues" with my bike that was used 50/50 track/street. I'm 48 years old, and realized I'm too "old"...
My teammate (guy on the #23 Ninja 300) and I got down to Hallett for a little preseason testing this last weekend. Despite some morning rain and cool temps all day, we were able to have a productive day and it really helped to shake off the cobwebs from 5 months off!
We put together a little...
Straight away, I'll say ACF-50 or Copaslip on all the little fasteners on fairing etc. After 4 months over winter from new, mine were rusted and difficult to remove. And change the oil halfway between services.

Weighs in at about 7.1 lbs!
No Map Yet but we will have one within the next couple of weeks.
$599.99...
.
Just got word from Dyno Jet they are having a 5-10% price increase for 2016.
It may not sound like a lot...... But, that's approx. $25-$35 on a PCV
Just something to consider........ if you are planning on getting a PCV in the next few months.

Hi Guys,
Veteran rider, newbie racer. I bought the rc390 this past summer specifically for racing. I rode it on the streets for a few months, took one racing lesson, and now it's in the garage getting transformed into a legit track bike. Can't wait to hit the track in the spring again.
