The Duke version looks like it would be useful as a grip. The RC version is not in a place that it would be useful as a grip when you are hanging off mid corner unless maybe your have 3ft long femurs. It would keep the glove scratches off the plastic from putting ones hands in there to warm them up in the cold.

But hey the price is right and the quality of fitment looks to be good.

We could do additional panels if need be, but despite the look, they seemed to us to be optimally placed. Apparently so does KTM, as the hard parts kits are very similar...

If anything, you are using the middle grip with the inside of your outside leg on any given turn, or in reality, you're just sitting on the edge of seat because "hanging off" doesn't really involve any hanging given the centrifugal force of the motorcycle. The side grips are for picking it up\tipping it in, not hanging off mid-turn, and they should align with the pivot of your knee, which they do.

Notice my knee isn't touching the side of the tank at all mid-turn.

This is a great shot of where you contact the tank with your leg mid-turn

In the market for something like this. On long rides ( Thank You PowerParts COMFY Seat) and (Alpinestars SP-1 Pre curved fingers + Venting). I feel the bike is lacking tank grip.
