Andreani spring rate

I'm looking for the recommended spring rate for 190 lb. rider without gear. Andreani recommended 7.3 but that sounds too soft to me.
Bike will be used for track/racing.

Weight yourself with gear, and input that weight. Race tech also has a calculator on their website.

207 lb in gear. Race-Tech calculator says 9.5. I used the calculator earlier but am just trying to confirm their recommendation based on real world experiences.

With Andreani you should be high 7s or low 8s.

That is a fair amount less than Race Techs suggested rate. I just don't want to be undersprung.
