Im sure im not the only one who is having trouble justifying spending the money on an aftermarket tidy tail, at least while there is no cheap options available.
So i decided to cut down the existing bracket.
All i did was cut the tube out of the middle of the bracket and weld both ends back together.
I then cut down the plastic shield to suit.
When i welded it up i made it so the plate angled up slightly, unfortunately now the bracket touches the brake light.
Luckily its only touching lightly and i can live with it.
It was pretty easy to do, looks much better and most importantly it was free.
