In a bit of odd news:
CFMoto produces RC390
Scroll about halfway down the page. It's referred to as the "KTMR2R RC390." My first whiff of this was in a thread discussing the possibility that KTM had licensed production of the bike to a Chinese company; perhaps partially in response to quality issues from the Bajaj bikes. It appears from the article that this new "brand" is strictly for the Chinese home market, rather than export.
So, could this be like Toyota/Honda/VW offshore production with home-market QC measures, or just KTM cloning production to entities less expensive than their Austrian sources?
