Finally Got my 390!

So after having a deposit with my local deal since January I gave up...

Found a USED RC390 in Indy, about 4 hours from me for $5300 with 50 miles on it...

Offered the guy $5k, with paypal deposit and pick it up that evening. He accepted.

So after working all day, ran home threw the trailer on, then drove from St Louis to Indy, handed the guy the rest of the cash, loaded up the bike on the trailer, talked for a minute and drove home.

I saved a bunch of money because my dealer never got their bikes, I guess my unlucky situation flipped for a change.

Watch giving it too much air without a full tune. Cjwell can speak to this but I think the 390 runs better with the snorkel and air box cover when stock.

Yep Im aware, that's why I did it nondestructive. Ive also got my GPX Pro to log some real world data and see what differences it makes.

EDIT: Went back and read that thread about the snorkel and airbox, I'm going to put it back to stock till I get a Bazzaz or PC.

BUT so everyone knows it's extremely easy to modify the cover, 4 screws and a little heat allows you to pull it apart.

Made a captive front spacer for the 390 this weekend too, not as pretty as fastfranks. Only had time to make one but another will be done soon.
