Hi all just a quick intro of myself. I'm probably older than most people who buy a RC... turning 50 this year and getting back in to riding amongst other goals like losing weight etc. From Australia, where these bikes are very popular. Bit of a fatso, but losing weight steadily. I'm also on the taller side but I have always enjoyed lightweight bikes that handle well in the past so when I saw the RC it kept 'pulling me back in'. Any tips on setup for a portly 6" 2" would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

New rear shock would be likely needed. I'm 5'10" and pushing 96kg, the rear Ohlins made a world of difference, plus racetech fronts. Stock shock isn't great for heavier guys.

You're not the only portly Aussie on the forum.

Rear shock or at least a straight spring change n the shock is a definite must do...straight springs in the front and a Brembo MC is nice too.

Thanks for the welcomes! I got a square deal on a bitubo fork kit and an ohlins rear so they are going on as soon as they arrive from Italy. Handling upgrade before power upgrades everytime.

Cheers
