My 2015 was an endless series of breakdowns and it ended up in with lawyers. I expected some issues with a first model year bike but, it was KTM North America's response to my problems that'll make me never buy a KTM again. They were horrible! With that said, I've gotten the general impression...
The bib is the rubber flap that covers the top of the engine to shield the gas tank. I think most people cut it out and get rid of it because it's in the way and hard to remove in one piece. As for the body work, it's a mess of different sized fasteners and odd to assemble bits but you'll get...
Digging around the garage this weekend and I found the stock shock P/N 90804010000 and an unopened Hot Cams 10mm Shim Kit #HCSHIM31 (although they *might* fit on my BMW R1200RS).

Make me an offer
I had no problems hitting that indicated top speed (or slightly more) and I'm 200 Lbs plus gear. I had to be in a full tuck on a little bit longer straight but no big deal.
SOLD!!!!
Full front and back rims with rotors on both and carrier and sprocket as well on the back from a 2015 RC390
I bought a spare set of wheels when I got the bike. The bike's since been lemon-law'ed so I don't need them anymore. The bike had 7,995 miles on it when it went away so, the rims...
It *seems* like most of it must come from Mike Cooper of KTM North America.
Just to work it through, the possible candidates by my thinking are Mike Copper, Santa Barbara Motorsports (SBM), Thousand Oaks Powersports and KTM's lawyers. My assumption is that it is NOT the lawyers and they're...
Heh, the lawyers were pretty clear about the law not caring about my lost time, time off of work nor the cost of any maintenance performed or for upgrades I've made to the bike. Towing and having to use alternate transportation would only be covered if I had to rent something like a car/truck to...
I did file a lawsuit against KTM on 9/1/16 (Case #BC632594). The process is still ongoing but, it may be wrapping up before the year is out. Due to an NDA I can't disclose any details.
I can express my feelings on the experience so far which has left me with the opinion that KTM and Mike...
Another vote for the Harbor Freight folding trailer - it's cheap and does the job. If budget is not an issue, the Baxley is a much better folding trailer FWIW.
What DukeMaster said!

Heh, sounds like we were talking to the same person!
Actually, in the many, many, many phone calls I've made to KTM, I've only spoken to 3 different people: Tyson, Jim and Mike Cooper. The first two were nice but largely unconcerned. Talking to the last name one the list is probably a good...
Call KTM North America early and often at 855-215-6360! They never seemed to care too much but, they'd call the dealer sometimes which occasionally sped things up.
FWIW, I keep hoping that mine was a fluke, built monday morning or friday afternoon, or something. Some people haven't had any problems so, it could just be really bad quality control.
Heh, I had the same issue with wanting to upgrade to the Andreani fork upgrade kit. If it could have gone only a few weeks straight without breaking down then I was gonna start pulling the trigger on upgrades again. :(
FWIW, lane splitting doesn't require drivers to do anything different than they're already supposed to: look and signal before switching lanes. That's about it. In cali, cars usually leave a little more space for motorcyclist than they need to but, they certainly don't have to - there's plenty...
