Hello! Just picked up an RC390 and looking track/race prep for March NRS. So far I'm slowly safetywiring the bike and haven't gotten too far. This bike uses a non screw type clamp, I'd like ask for some reference on how are you guys safety wiring these clamps. I see a lot of beautiful bikes...

Still new to bikes and new to track riding but decided that what I wanted to do in 2018. So...... Picked up that 2016 RC390 from our favorite St Louis dealer on super clearance, twas comically dusty. Then spent the winter tearing it apart and slapping the good stuff on it. Many thanks, mostly...

I went to do the safety wire on the bike tonight and I see at least the larger drain plug is hollow at the top. So if you drill a hole though the bolt for the wire it seems to me oil would would drip out. How are people safety wiring the drain plug?

My bike came with a set of fork sliders on it, i have never run them before, but don't mind running them. my issue comes in how the hell do i safety wire my axle nut now.. LOL

Went to drill a hole in my oil drain plug and turns out it's hollow, now it's leaking oil. Obviously I need a new drain plug but how did you guys safety wire it? This is the one on the side by the kick stand.

Anybody done it yet? Wanted to see how the cup bikes were setup versus the non cup in terms of bolts. The drain plug is a bit hollow, and easy to ruin when drilling for safety wiring. Wondered if cup bike was same.
