racers, how do you safety wire fork sliders?

My bike came with a set of fork sliders on it, i have never run them before, but don't mind running them. my issue comes in how the hell do i safety wire my axle nut now.. LOL

Don't run them but don't they replace the nut? And you safety wire the slider itself. Just a guess from what a buddy runs.

I ran my bike with no sliders at all this weekend, lowsided on both sides with minimal damage. I would suggest longer clipon bars (Woodcraft makes a set of clipons that fit under the stock triple) and solid pegs (Woodraft is also going to be carrying full rear sets soon for the RC390) , they will hold most of the body from the ground in a crash.

Ya, I never ran any before on my R6 and had many crashes on it with no fork damage, they are just there so i feel i should use them. LOL. I think i have an idea that may work
