Does the AKRAPOVIC exhaust drag?

I had read in an article that it's pretty easy to drag the Akrapovic exhaust in turns.
Has anyone found this to be true?

I have never had the issue and run a tight track, I think i mounted mine higher than others though, the instructions tell you to mount it to a mounting bracket a certain way, but i mounted on the other side and it made it a sit higher
