After weeks of rain, and rain and more rain... we finally got some good weather and were able to complete our Brake Testing.
So prior to doing any brake upgrades, we went out and tested the STOCK brakes.
Tire pressures were all checked, brakes were seated w/ plenty of pad material transferred to the stock rotors.
Then after our testing, we swapped to the Galfer Wave Rotors Front & Rear which saved approx. 2 lbs of rotating mass. (this helps improve handling, quicker braking, and slightly better acceleration)
And we also upgraded to the Galfer HH Pads
And the results were great.
Updated pricing Direct from us........
Galfer 300mm DF800CW ONLY....... $227
Galfer 320mm Oversized DF800CWS ........ Only $229
Caliper Hardware Kit (for oversized rotor) - $10
So that's about $20 - $30 less, then purchasing direct from KTM.

Brake Test Results :
Braking Comparison : 40 mph to Zero
STOCK ............................................. 50.5’ Avg. of 10 Attempts
GALFER Wave Rotors & HH Pads Upgraded Kit ........... 42.5' Avg. of 10 Attempts
Braking Comparison : 50 mph to Zero
STOCK ............................................. 78.5' Avg. of 10 Attempts
GALFER Wave Rotors & HH Pads Upgraded Kit .......... 68.5' Avg. of 10 Attempts
This was amazing. We Shortened our stopping distance by 10 FEET at 50 mph.
The Faster the speed, the more difference between stock and the upgrade.
Most likely stops from 60 mph or above would yield even More contrast from STOCK vs. Galfer Upgrades.
