Modifying the stock intake tract for more power (cleaner air)

True, but looking at the dyno graph, the biggest bump in torque and hp seems to be below 7k, that may benefit some people, particularly if they're racing, but for me, using my bike mainly on the road I'm looking for bang for buck, when I installed a HMF muffler on my Husky SM610 it made a big difference to its performance, almost like going two teeth up on the rear sprocket, that's a pretty good improvement for $400.

That kind of performance jump obviously isn't possible on the RC, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it basically means most people using the bike on the road won't need to spend any money on hp gains, because its pretty good standard.
