Okay... so the front of the race tail mounts to the tank bolts... I think... and the rear has mount points... but the thing came with no instructions or hardware... anybody have ideas on what they used?

Yes call or pm me. It shouldve come with hardware. It takes different tank panel bolts (threaded stand off).
This is what comes in kit tail. I couldn't attach pics in PM. You'll need the new standoffs to mount tail to tank to space it out properly. Rest could be generic substitutes. Which part number did you order/receive form your supplier? Did you get seat pad? This is 90508918044.
