I'm an ex-Daytona 675 owner, great bike.

(clicky)

Currently, I've got an R1200GS, FJR1300A, and an F800R. When I do that list, kinda sounds like old man bikes. Mebbe I need the RC more than I thought!!!

Those are all fantastic bikes. I've riden each of them and they're all good for what they do.
Since you asked me what is it about the rc390 that interest you? Those are some big bikes.

It just looks like fun. So long as it doesn't beat me to death on the street, I think I can learn a lot about braking and handling by riding a bike where power can't make up for laziness or lack of skills. I think that'd be true either on the track, or someplace like the Dragon.

Okay, fill us in! I recognize the Ninjette and the R6. What are the others (including the Honda at the far left that looks partially disassembled)?

Suzuki Gladius SFV650, the Honda on the left corner is my buddy's crashed CBR600rr. The black Honda is a CBR125r equipped with studded ice screws dirt bike tire. In the background is my daughter's Pitster Pro X4 125cc supermoto/ice bike.

2012 tri-color Honda CBR250R ABS. I've been riding 2 years this month and I really like this motorcycle.

And Texas250- you looking at the KTM as the next step?

Yes if the quality is there. I have been surfing the Duke390 forum and they do have their issues. I'm going to ride the 250 till after next summer and then make a decision. I like the look, price, and performance of the RC390, and the CBR500RA for that matter (but not the price), but I am worried about the Indian build quality. The R3 is out for me, no ABS.
