The Frando is a basic, but very well-made piece of gear, for quite a reasonable price. In a blind test, it is doubtful whether it could be distinguished from a Brembo RCS. The Frando 15mm is an excellent 390 upgrade, IMO.

It's a pitty they don't say the piston size the used.
I assume it is 15mm. right?

They do say what size piston is used (14mm- 19mm). It's also painted on the master cylinder and listed where ever they're sold- I'm running a 15mm.

Frando is NOT a Chinese brand - it is emphatically a Taiwanese product, with superior quality control. The company was founded in Taiwan in 1993 and remains there today, with all production in the capital, Taipei.

Recently, in a brazen but characteristically Chinese maneuver, an unnamed Chinese company pirated the design of the Frando 7NB master cylinder, and is selling this copied product on AliExpress under the Frando brand for a much cheaper price than the authentic Frando. The copies look very genuine and are even shipped in a box copied from Frando's design. However, according to Taiwan Frando, the internal parts of the Chinese copy are poor quality and can fail. The Frando company is extremely upset over the blatant Chinese copy, but apparently there is little they can do to curtail marketing of the copies. The real Frando 7NB MC sells for about $160; the Chinese copy for about $40. The former is the one to buy, the latter is to be avoided. The Frando 7NB is offered in 14, 15, 17 and 19mm sizes. The 15mm is the ideal size to mate with the 390's 4-piston ByeBre caliper.

Taiwanese, MAJOR difference as far as quality standards are concerned. More expensive too.
