Little bikes are so much fun and cheaper to race than big bikes if you choose to. Slightly off subject, but if you guys are out in california yall should go check out UMRA and M1GP for the minis races. They do endurance and sprints. In Texas we have Texasminigp and there are numerous other minis race organizations around the country. So much fun and it compliments bigger bikes perfectly.

I'm going with a second rc390. I can't get excited about any of the other 300's on the market and it's probably smart to stick with a 300 for several years while I build my skills. This was the bike that made me get my license in the first place so it deserves a second chance. I'll see how my skills progress and consider another bike in the future.

Kart tracks and 50cc bikes are probably another smart idea for developing my skills on the side, but I want a 300 for my daily highway commute and exploring California. I've met loads of people that suggest the rc390 is a great beginners bike so I'm going to trust the opinion of the majority on this one. While I could probably handle an r6 with some patience and restraint, I've already proven that I can get overconfident and ride over my ability, so it's not smart for me to take the risk, as much as I'm seduced by the 600.
