Bought my '15 RC390 in April of 2019 with 5k on the clock
Bike didn't stay stock for long. My end plan was to build as sporty of a lightweight bike as I could for the street.
I added:
Tyga Dual Oval Undertail
RapidBike Evo Tuner
Driven Rearsets
Driven Triple/Clip-Ons
Motion Pro Rev2 Throttle...

Howdy err'body,
Been on the forum for months now lurking and slowly accumulating parts for a track build. I'll be starting a build thread soon! I'm a penny pinching weight weenie and love my '16 RC390. Going to break it in on the track this weekend!
Anyone running a stand alone quickshifter? I'd be curious your thoughts on it. Specifically if you have had experience with fuel integrated quick shifters as well.
I'm currently looking at HM Quickshifter ? Quickshifter Plus SS for myself as I'm nickle and diming building my bike verses...
This bike came to us with a mild super sport setup and we made a few gains! This bike is a high comp, closed airbox, K&N filter, Yosh pipes, Ti retainers, PCV, with a fair bit of Gray Area special sauce. This bike is on track and absolutely destroying it!

wotcha, 58 year old veteran here, just bought a 390 to convert to a dedicated track day bike, been lurking for a while on this great forum and you finally persuaded me to splash out and join the gang! I already own a 690 duke and a 690 smc-r supermoto but wanted to get back to 'the good old...
I just won an RC390 in a raffle. Now I have three bikes and that's one too many. I'm going to need to sell one and that makes me kinda sad. The KTM has been a blast to ride so far but reading through this forum gets me concerned about reliability and the problems I'll face as a try to turn build...
Hey Guys starting off a race bike build and i have been scouring the site for a week or so now and still have lots of questions :)
1) Exhaust for more power and weight loss.. Currently thinking about the werkes GP, but am having a hard time finding dyno info anywhere for all the exhausts.. any...
Hi guys! I'm planning to build a modern café racer, based on a classic 1-cylinder aircooled engine (swedish make "Hedlund"). Before you kick me out, just let me say I think the RC 390 seems like an awesome, lightweight and nimble sportsbike! I would like to build my chassie, based on the RC 390...
Hi all and thank you for having me.
we are just about to start a new project and thought here would be a good place to share it along with any feed back you may have.
Our aim is to build and race a RC390 here in Perth Western Australia. Our build will be a full nut and bolt rebuild as orange...
Hey peeps. decided to make a build thread since i'm starting to make a lot of changes to the bike.
after putting in a bunch of miles on the track over the winter, followed by a successful race school at the beginning of the month, i decided to try and get into some races this summer. my budget...
Hey guys and gals, I'm new around here. I've been riding a while but I don't have a 390 yet. My main ride is a Triumph Tiger, but I'm looking to get an RC390 to race in a production class this year. I'm in CA so it's novice AFM if you're from the area. This is going to be my 2nd year racing but...
Just finished this 'light' build. Same bike in both graphs. Bike configuration is; stock exhaust, K&N filter, open lid, with a PCV. The blue curves are the stock engine, with before mentioned external mods, tuned. The green curves are with thin gaskets installed, head porting, valve touch up...

Thought I share my build with you guys. Thanks to the forum members who shared all their review and experience with the upgrade parts; I used a lot of your feedback to make my final selection. Thanks also to the forum sponsors for their patience dealing with all my questions during the...

Our RC390 Project has been going on a diet since the day we purchased it.
One of the best ways and easiest to knock off a good chunk of weight, it swapping out the battery to the Antigravity AG801 8 Cell .
On the KTM 390 it saved just over 6lbs.
And that weight is at the highest point on...
We've been testing on the Duke for some time, but have been patiently waiting on the RC variant, and they've now arrived. We continue to be impressed with MIVV. Fantastic Italian design and build quality. The include great db killers to tailor sound levels, and have proven to build power. Below...
Just purchase an RC390 mostly for use as a track bike, but also with plans for street riding. I purchase the KTM power parts RC Cup fork upgrade. Speedo and ABS will not work with these forks. These forks do not have a mount for the speedometer sensor. As a result the speedo reads incorrectly...
