Low Battery Warning despite full charge

I've gotten the LOW BATTERY warning several times recently; I trickled charged with Battery Tender Junior until green light indicated full charge; low batt warning gone, all good. However recently, I fully charged it after the warning came on, and now it's already back to low battery warning again 3 days later.

Is my battery toast? I only have about 15k miles on it, and it's only about 18 months old.

Is this a known battery sensor fault? Anyone have an experience with this?

Would rather not have to take my bike into the dealer around the holidays which are frantic.

Had that with mine, battery will take the charge but pretty much lost it over a couple of days. In the end I'd charge it, connect it up and in the time it took me to get kit on would have lost charge.

Went and bought a Lithium battery which is far lighter and better!

Do you have a multimeter? If so, I would check the exact battery voltage and go off of that. From what youre saying, though, it sounds like the battery is giving up the ghost.
