I had a Dyno tune done on my 2018 for an Akrapovic slip-on and wanted to share the graph with you all. Big thanks to Matt @ Formula390 for getting a header to me on time, and to Taylor over at TekMoto for anyone in CA.
Quick backstory: I've been running the Tyga moto maggot for a while now with...
I spent some time on the dyno today and all I have to say is WOW. Not only is this exhaust more beautiful then I ever expected it to be, but its quieter then the Akra(IMO) and makes the exact same power. Now that being said this is not without trade offs, one of these charts shows the difference...
Here is quick dyno pull to show how much power you can pull out of Matt's awesome Tyga header! I highly recommend these with the Akrapovic "open" system for even better gains. Using both together allows fitment on the 2017-2018 bikes!

Yoshimura's new race and street slip-ons are hitting our shelves next week! A really great looking system that so far is the only kit to replace the pre-muffler and catalytic converter! While we have not been able to put them on the Dyno yet, we expect really good results. Check out the links...

Hey Everyone,
Been watching some vids on proper break-in procedure and didn't see anything on here about it so here we go. I just saw a video where they did a proper break-in in about 20 miles on a dyno. Think I will have someone do it in my area (Phoenix) if I can find someone. Any thoughts?
After buying CJ's Power Commander 5 for a great price along with the K&N filter and having the PCV mapped for the K&N, stock exhaust and Airbox mod I today got her up on our local dyno for a pre-addons/PCV run.
** todays run is TOTALLY stock with nothing new on the bike at all. Purely for a...
After two years of development and saving up for parts and graphics I finally finished my project and it was time to put both the bike and my skills to the test! The bike is a 2015 RC390 and it clocked in at 42.68hp on the dyno with 26ft/lb in torque. I'm curious to hear what kind of HP numbers...
Note: first chart is uncorrected & second chart is corrected with only 0.99 correction factor needed which actually results in less power. Normally correction factors add power compared to the uncorrected due to atmospheric conditions which were closely controlled in Motorcyclist's...
Hey everyone!
I've been fiddling with my Werkes exhaust for a while now. It was originally shipped to me with no packing whatsoever and when I contacted Werkes (through HardRacing) they said they would send me a repack kit.
I did that repack, and later on another high temp ceramic repack and...

I have been modifying and looking for more gains with the engine kit! I lightly blended the bore, cleaned up/radiused shaft and tapered throttle plate on first iteration.
Dyno data was collected same day back to back on stock throttle body to modified one. Found over a horse...

Just got word from Dyno Jet they are having a 5-10% price increase for 2016.
It may not sound like a lot...... But, that's approx. $25-$35 on a PCV
Just something to consider........ if you are planning on getting a PCV in the next few months.

One of the more popular upgrades these days.

3) The PCV...
So I received my Arrow GP exhaust and PCV last week. The PCV came with the Arrow Fuel Map installed. My questions are:
1. Should I get the bike on the dyno prior to installing everything to get a baseline? Is it a waste of money?
2. Does the tuner need the dyno baseline data to tune the...
What's everybody tuning to for max power near redline/WFO? Anyone spent time with a dyno? I was planning on starting around 13.2 and going richer from there. Thoughts?
We've been testing on the Duke for some time, but have been patiently waiting on the RC variant, and they've now arrived. We continue to be impressed with MIVV. Fantastic Italian design and build quality. The include great db killers to tailor sound levels, and have proven to build power. Below...
