It's just one little thing after the next, nothing major, but i want to get it all out of the way. I'm trying to take one weekend to throw some time, money and parts at it (maybe some wrenches too, out of frustration) and knock everything out at once. Figured i would get some input from you guys...
ANyone with a quickshifter, what are you using for your kill time? Currently I'm running a single time, but plan to add a gear/speed input so I can set times per gear. Just wondering what kind of times you guys have found to work well.
OK, this is nothing too major, but...
Recently, started getting the "Service Not Reset" notice on startup. Looked up the owners' manual online (I'm still waiting for a manual, never got one with the bike), saw that there's an "initial service" due around 1000 km. As my RC390 is a new bike, I...
Hello everyone - returning to riding after a 15 year break - family commitments etc - I am picking up a KTM RC 390 next Tuesday - an ex demo with approx. 280 klm on clock. When I saw the KTM RC 390 when it was initially released I really wanted one and now looking forward to spending some time...
Hi Guys,
Is this normal? The rear wheel apparently jumps from time to time...and it looks and sounds annoying. I can also feel the non-smoothness of the ride when I am rolling on the road on the first gear without reving. It feels like the bike is jerking...
First long(ish) ride today, over a very good road through the Monashee mountains. Absolutely loving the RC! But...seems every time I glance down, the red "shift" light is flashing at me! Anyone else with this problem? :p
Plus, what's up with the "Low Fuel" display? Comes on, says I have 57...
Currently my bike has about 2000 miles on it. When it was at about 200 miles I noticed an oil leak coming from this bolt area. I took it to the dealer and they had it for a week and said that the oil was just chain lube. Today I was doing some cleaning and had the side cover removed and put it...
first time this year I've been able to get out on my bike....when running down to get new gas while cruzing along at 35 mph it stopped running, like someone hit kill switch!....pulled over and after a minute, it fired back up...got some gas and took off for a short spin, not feeling like I trust...

Alright, so first off, this is mine and my wife's opinion on this, second, I love this bike in terms of power and getting through traffic. Now well comes the sad part and I want anyone and everyones input on this.
So, we got the bike back in April of '16, with a one year warranty from factory...
Most fun I've had on a bike in a long time. This thing was meant for this no doubt
spelling is off today. Time not tine
These are the alpha 13's. They worked excellent. They gave great feedback and I didn't have any issue at all with them gripped perfect.
Hello Everyone!
I've been browsing the forums for a while now but decided it was finally time to join the community. I've been riding motorcycles for over 10 years (mostly MX) but wanted to get in to road racing. I picked up a KTM RC 390 in May 2016 and have done a few track days since. I plan...
This weekend, RideSmart hosted their July trackday sessions at Circuit of the Americas. We had three RC390's in attendance, two of which are forum members:
Edward Philips / EdwardP333:
Shaun Guy / Roadminge:
and Jeff Frazier (not on the forum yet):
Temps were HOT, but the track sessions...

So as many of you know, like a spoiled brat who had his favorite toy taken away, I was stomping my feet making a fuss and generally slandering this bike in every way possible in the past month or so. Well I've had i back now since last week and I cant believe how ignorant I was. First off I...
Here is my onboard video from the MCRA Racing Ultralight GT race in the rain at Putnam Park Road Course on Sunday!
This was my first time ever riding on rain tires, at all, let alone racing on them. Our race was moved up to midday, so we only got one 30 min practice session before it was time...
I bought it this spring and have used it on 4 street rides. Most of my riding time is at the track where the stock seat allows better movement. $95 shipped anywhere in the lower 48, or BO.
.
So we've been trying to get these for a long time.
Finally got our hands on them.
These are Brembo High Performance Replacement pads (p.n. 07GR18SC) for the stock calipers.
As most of you have figured out by now, the Stock Calipers are actually made by Brembo.
These are their UPGRADED...
So, I got my bike from the dealer on April 15th. Awesome bike, but it all began with the putting my insurance card under the seat. Went to put the seat back on, and the right side plastic seat clip is broken. Ordered new seat, covered by warranty. That was back ordered and had no idea when it...
Dear KTM: Cotter pins? Seriously? I guess it cost too much to slot the hinge pin and source a circlip, huh? And boy, that right side- nice clearance on the rear master cylinder dust boot. I guess thats easier to access before you install the brake parts.
Stoopid cheap s***s.
Oh. To...
